Why do I play online....

I started playing online poker Fall '03 at Partypoker. At first, I didnt know what to expect since I was a little bit wary of playing online. After watching Chris Moneymaker won the WSOP, I've decided to open up an account to see what the fuss was all about. I play primarily PL25 and was able to get my $100 bankroll up to around $220 within a few weeks. Pretty remarkable for someone who never read a poker book, played pot limit before, and was used to those crazy home games (tic tac toe, elevator, and etc). Fast forward 18 months later, I am now bonus whoring various sites and playing primarily Omaha 8 hi/lo. This past August ('04) I had to make a huge withdrawl from my online bankroll to pay for my vacation to Reno. That left me just $84 bucks which isnt much left for me to play with for online poker. However, I was able to turn that $84 into $1700 by the first week of Feb ('05). If you know how to play Texas, Omaha, and/or Stud then online poker is for you :). This is my first "topic" so spare me if this sounds like a rough draft. I'll get better as I post more along the way.
