Last night WSOP observation....

Amy and Sarah (sister in law) decided to "hog" the TV in the family room. Something about Tuesday night is their favorite favorite night to watch tv. So that forced me to bring up my laptop to the bedroom and watch WSOP.

I only had $27 in my AP account so why not jump in the 50/1 game for a hour or so make some bucks and get some points for bonuses...not a bad night...played about 60 hands (75 minutes?) and left the table with $41 ($14 profit). I think I only got "A2xx" twice or so.

Best hand of the night:

Ahhh....Sucks to be the FarmerTom guy...the had the 2nd nuts to high and low...just got caught the in the middle...2nd nuts both hi and low are hard to let go of...but to go crazy reraising me without the nuts was just plain stupid.

Now about WSOP...

Can someone tell me EXCATLY why Andrew Black was crying? The booth boys said it was because his "friend" (one of the players) wasn't back from the break yet. Theres gotta be something more to it.

By now the forums are jumping allll over Tiffany Williams about her play.
Quick review:
1. Took what seems like a good 5 minutes to decide what to do with her KQh when she was reraised all-in by someone holding AA (preflop).

2. With AJo, she was reraised by Raymer holding KK and she calls.. loses a major bulk of her chips (preflop).

3. Decided to go all-in with A7o in early position and gets called by QQ and hits her ace on the flop

Bloggers, internet boards, forums and etc are already jumping on her arse and calling her the most vile name of all: "FISH".

Here is my two cents: She only had one year under her belt, the fact that she made it this far (during the KQh fiasco) is fantastic. The pressure with TV, millions within her reach, and etc can be overbearing. I dont blame her for taking a lengthy time to decide to fold.

Her AJ vs KK...we see this ALLLLLL THE TIME on WPT/WSOP...Hansen, Ivey, Raymer, Brunson....they've all made these calls before...did we ever jump on them?

Remember WSOP was edited, she probably made a bunch of silly decisions, then again she probably made a bunch of fantastic moves that just were never shown. And I'm sure many of those so-called "pros" made some silly decisions too.
