Deaf Poker

Last weekend Firefighter Jake and I head out to Atlantic City to see "whats up". Mind you, I didnt bring my bankroll since it is still tied up online (BoDog and Stars).

Lo and behold theres a
National Deaf Poker Tour going on. So Jake and I decided to observe and see how these participants play. By the time we got there, it was down to 30 players or so.

Hmmmmm....

These players fall into one of the 3 categories:
1. Weak/Tight
2. Weak/Passive
3. I don't know what the heck I'm doing

Example:
Table Chip Leader (TCL) and Medium Stack (MS)

MS in middle position raise it 2x
TCL in BB calls

Flop: 2Q5
MS makes a min. bet
TCL calls

Turn: T
check...check

River: 3
MS bets 2x
TCL goes all in

MS took about 5 minutes....folds and shows his QT
TCL shows his bicycle (A-5 straight)

Yep....

Another one....
Down to 7 players...

"I dont know what I'm doing" (IDKWID) UTG limps....folds to SB who makes a 3x raise...BB folds...

Flop comes AK4...

SB makes the same preflop bet....IDKWID quickly says "all-in" in which it only cost SB another "min bet".

SB flips over AT
IDKWID shows....eh eh...Q9 suited spades....

Turn: T

River: 5

IDKWID wins with a "runner runner" flush. Everyone was shaking their heads (WTF??).

Some solid players here and there but can't say that for the whole field.
