Why A2xx....sucks

I'm starting to fold more of these A2xx hands preflop and flop....

even though I flopped the nut low, I had nothing else going for it... so insta-fold here...

So If I had stayed in till the river, I would have been quartered and split the pot with AUCU....I would have invested about $12 to this pot and only get back about $6 which means I would have lost $6!!!! Lesson so simple still I see people pushing A2 hands with nothing else going for it...
